New North Carolina State Record Sea Wolf has caught the biggest tuna ever in the state of North Carolina with an 875 pound tuna caught by Dennis Meinhart.
WE HAVE A NEW CAPTAIN!!! We're proud to announce that the new captain of the Sea Wolf is Ron Callis. Ron is on the Board of Directors of the Ocean City Marlin Club, is the current WORLD record holder for a tile fish that he caught off of Ocean City and has been fishing offshore for over 17 years. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience. Ron realizes that it's all about the customer and their experience. We're very lucky to have Captain Ron as the new captain of the Sea Wolf
YELLOWFIN TUNA Captain Ron of Sea Wolf and Captain Lloyd of the Shelly II went out fishing and brought the first yellowfin of the season back to Sunset Marina on May 23rd.
Capt. Ron went fishing Captain Ron had some down time yesterday so he went fishing in his personal boat and came back with some beautiful golden tile fish. A couple were well over the 50 pound range.
TILE FISH Jack Power, Scott Lennox and Dave went fishing for Tile Fish and came back with 8 beautiful tile fish. Jack caught a double header totaling over 100 pounds. Way to go Jack!!!!
06/21/08 fishing report Yellowfin Tuna Captain Ron and mate Chuck Dammann went with Captain Lloyd on the Shelly for an overnighter with a group from Ohio and Maryland and they came back to the dock with 24 yellowfin and 2 longfin tuna. What a great trip. Looks like the Ohio boys may have outfished the boys from Pasadena.
Bluefin & Dolphin Captain Ron and Chuck fished today and came back to the dock with a nice bluefin tuna, some dolphin and blue fish
Big Bluefin 07-08-08 Captain Ron fished today and came back with his quota of Bluefin Tuna.
Blue Marlin Captain Ron and mate Chuck Dammann were fishing this past weekend and in addition to catching bluefin tuna (Chuck caught a 55incher on a thin jig rod) Captain Ron caught a beautiful blue marlin estimated to be over 400 pounds
07-27-08 Yellowfin and Blue Marlin The group from Taylor Rental went out today and came back with some nice yellowfin. The biggest was 77 pounds. They also caught and released a blue marlin
Sea Bass The owner decided to give sea bassing a try and he and a few guests went out on Saturday and came back with 40 sea bass, all over the 2lb range
